Mike spun once the power came in, and Mark's exhaust on the passenger side fell off and we got it out, but when he left the line the clamp fell off and he ran over it and spun the tire.

Yeah Mark told me about that, he's lucky he did not lose a tire.

Great idea on that "no exhaust through the fender" rule.....extremly doubtful that would have happened if they wouldn't have had to pull the fender exhaust just for this race.

Thats my thought exactly, there are many rules that are not considered "performance enhancing" that should be looked at.
Althought I would have loved to get my first big win, in the end I was happy for Mike because he really deserved it. He has had some serious "tough" luck for the past two years. I think he's got most of his set-up figured out now so he will be tough going into 2010.

Completely agree. Josh/I were definately pulling for you, but seeing the way Mike's car went down in True street not only last year, but this year as well....It was nice to see him take him a big win.
On a side note, Mark, it was great meeting you and your group! We came in hopes to learn a few things from you guys as well as get a good feel for where we were headed with our turbo car. You guys were more than helpful with everything, and really a fun group to hang out with!! Next year, I'll be another easy meal for that orange car in DR! Now, if i could just talk you into trading my S480 for that 101 you have for sale....hahahahaha

Either way it went we would have both been happy for the other. Mark and I both ran new best on that ET limmiting tire. :eyes: Having the car break in True Street could not have been a better thing to have happen. It was a long but good weekend in the end. Thanks everybody. :cheers:
