Congrats to our LSX Ambassador as he wraps up the weekend with a huge BANG!

He won his class in the True Street 11.00 Index class.
He is awarded the honor of LSX Ambassador.
Now he has won the LSX Shootout Index Race with well over 110 cars entered!!!

That is what I call a sweep!:D

Don't forget, he also won the only LSX event held at Atco, NJ in 2008!

congrats Edgar! car was looking good too!

I was hoping this morning I wouldnt be paired up with you (we are both 11.0) and I don't know about you, but I was having a time trying to sandbag my car..I was coasting through every time. Closest was 11.08 @ 100...if it tells you anything, I was trapping 99-100 at the 1/8th. i had a blast.
Build that LSX block up and run 9.50 index next year!

Gentlemen, thank you very much for the congrats. I have to tell you it was my best Shootout of them all and not just because I was lucky enough to get the win.

On Saturday morning, I felt I had already won. Friday I checked the car count for Rumble with Derek and think it was like 88. I had set a personal goal to see 100 rumble cars. When I walked over and saw 117 had already been assigned, I must have jumped in a air a whopping 2 inches...Hey, I am not Micheal Jordan...LOL. At that point, no matter happened to me, i was happy 117 (officially 120 now) took the opportunity to come out despite the forecast and the cost they had to incur to get their. I truly hope you all had a great time!!
A poll was started on here and there were 37 folks who said they would run the index. The most of all three years. As you can see, some folks here don't post a lot so I thought we would see double that from tech alone and the rest.....well the NMCA promotion is working.

Then later to have Steve Wolcott, NMCA President, tell me to meet him by the starting later where he brought me out to the line to present me with the Ambassador award brought a tear to my eye. Often folks confuse me for an NMCA employee but I am not. I do this for the love of the sport. I am lucky enough to have a job where I am on a computer 12 hours a day and often time there are down minutes while I wait for a process to complete an that gives me time to read and pass along information for you all.

On the win, I struggled with the tree all weekend. Huge reds, huge late lights, all that crap. Could not get comfortable. Luckily i had the car right where it needed to be and took my chances with the tree and it came around. My last four lights were .005, .071 (I think) .000 and .014. I have never had such a 4 light average in all the pro tree racing I have done. Glad it came around this time :)

Jason and Rayn, you guys are great too. Actually I splitting the pot took a lot of pressure off of me.......sorry ;) Cody, when you got around me and started whomping, I thought my day was done. I was lucky to win that one. Heck I was lucky to win them all.

Big thanks to all the well wishers all weekend. For example, Michelle and her husband come to see me right after round two and said they new for sure I was going on to win. Thanks guys.

Verry well said sir, I had a blast myself. Hell, I was in a car that had never been raced at a 1/4 mile track. It was a blast, I cant wait til next year. I sure hope that they do figure out some way to make it go more eficiently though. I cant wait til next year.

Not sure if you have all the stuff on here jason but they have. the will not run bracket cars next year. This year they had about 150 of them....this will alleviate a lot
