Im looking at getting a 06 v and was wondering how strong the rear was cuz a couple people have told me that they were weak. If i end up getting her wanna do heads cam exhaust and spray and was just wondering if she would hold up to the abuse that could go on from time to time any answers would help out alot..

It won't hold up at stock power if you beat on it, have sticky tires, do burn outs, shift hard on the 1-2 and 2-3, etc.
You can by an axle kit from a couple different vendors and that will help a ton but it'll never be 100% eliminated imo unless you go to a madman rear for $7,500.

Everyone that has them seems to be very happy. I don't have any first hand knowledge though, just reading and watching vids.

These cars are monsters for roll races(I hope I don't sound like a ricer lol). Get the axles, do all your mods and at highway speeds you'd keep up with a bottom 11 second car IMO. Stock V's keep up with mid to bottom 12 second cars on the highway.

Nope, no cam for me. There are quite a few guys in here running cams. I think there are a couple recent threads asking about cam specs. I bet you can find them if you search a little.

Oh yeah, I think any lsx based motor sounds like music when cammed.
Here is a thread discussing cam choice.

If you want a "ricer" power curve, go for it. :eyes: It would be real easy to get caught in the wrong gear with that one.
IMHO...Let someone who does this professionally (like Patrick G.) spec one for you, you'll be far happier with the car's performance.
