I had a great time, and Im really happy with the numbers. this thing has more in it, just need some more practice. only did 4 runs that day. my best 60ft was a 2.0X, but lost traction in 2nd gear as you can see in the vid :( I also did a 2.1, but also lost traction on 2nd gear and ended up running 12.55. In this run (My best and last run), I tried to let off a little on 2nd gear and shifted a little slower, and it worked and ended up running 12.54@118 with a 2.2X 60ft. I was really improving, and I think i will be able to get a 12.3 slip if I managed to get another 2.0X 60ft

Track Elevation = 4900ft

good runs, you definitely have more left in it. That elevation really kills the times. I think without the elevation you would be mid 11's.

yeah with a DA of 71XX, its about ~11.4 :eyes: considering I just bought the car and this was my first time to this track and the first time in the z06, im really happy with it:D I will be going again the 31st, and hopefully i will be getting some new #s

No doubt a 7100 DA will hurt performance but even more so traction is slowing you. You have 118 mph even at that elevation. That's a mid 11 second car. I have an 11.35 @ 118.35 mph time slip that I ran with my 98 Camaro. It was an automatic with a stall which is going to be faster than a manual but still shows what that mph can produce.

I feel your pain DA is ~8.2K and 5.2K ft above sea level here. The track official didn't think I would break into th3 13's. I barely did 13.8@104. Congrats on your times!!!

thats good. The best I ran (out of two runs :)) in my C5 (bone stock) was 14.2 at bandimere (5800ft above sea-level) and ~7800 DA. had a s**** 60ft because of the s**** gy runflats I had and only did 2 runs, so didn't really figured the best launch rpm.
