That is a super clean car. I was shocked to see an LS motor in the Street Radial class. I talked briefly to Jesse on Saturday and he was really nice to talk to. He was having some piston or piston ring issues on Sunday I think. Nice to see the LS being represented in that class.

I'm pretty sure thats his.
It looked like they had the whole motor apart, just a block in the car one night

i know its his, i watched him dyno and work on it, hell ive sat in it. sunday he had a head off, oil pan off, and a couple pistons out. he messed up a ring and was trying to make it up there in time for eliminations and just barely missed it. im talking missed it by like thirty seconds!!

Wow that's dedication. I'm assuming he's running a plate kit if he runs in Street Race, that's a 8.8 - 9.0 class.

I don't know, they might have us beat but if not we are neck in neck for dedication.
For those that didn't see the broken 2010 camaro....We hurt the spider gears on a 1.500 60'. They busted on the next pass. We pull the rear end out, take it apart, have madman weld it up. Put it back together. Back up to go test it out, pop. Broke the welds. Probably where most people would have pushed it on the trailer. Not us, we pull it back out, take it apart and have madman double up on the welds. We didn't get to really test it out other than a quick drive. Since we didn't make it all 3 rounds of the true street due to the rear end, we were not eligible for the 2010 shootout. But oh well.
Funny thing is the red third gen was parked right next to us. Must have been something in the air for broken parts and fixing it.

Yeah that would be my third gen. I hurt a ring on my qualifying pass sat. Didn't realize it till I fired the car Sunday morning. We missed first round by just a few minutes. I managed a new best at 8.86 but I know she had more. For some reason the pistons were scuffing real bad.
Thanks for the compliments.

Yeah it really was a clean car. I like the smoothed firewall and super clean engine bay and interior. I can tell you take pride in keeping that car pristine looking and running.
