I haven't found anything on what happened in this class so far. Does anyone have any info or links? I know a bunch of vendors were building some pretty serious cars for this class yet I haven't seen anything about what they ran :(

I do not have any hard copy right know on that but from discussion with NMCA staff I think we had 8 or 9 enter the class. However, some were not legal for the ET they were running and at least I heard of did not run the TS passes and thus was disqualified.
Three cars ended up competing. I will get the times off of 1320 go and put up a new post

There were some pretty stout 2010 Camaros at the Shootout. Unfortunatly some of the baddest could not make it down the track.
Owen from ARD had his car ready for action with a very nice roll bar and 2 15 pound nitrous bottles in the trunk. It had an LSX block with a bullet proof engine. Too bad he broke one of the side gears during a launch.
He had Brian (Madman) weld the diff up to be a true loced spool. Because he did make all 3 passes they would not let him run with the class on Sunday. The car is capable or mid 10 second passes and is LEGAL to do so.
The black car from LMR had some tuning issues at the last moment. They had the car on the dyno a couple of times and swapped out some parts but could not get a pass on Sunday because the program was so far behind.
I had my car there also. We had installed a LSA crate engine as well as a tricked out 4L80E transmission with a 4000 RPM Pro Torque Converters 9 1/2" stall. The engine has all the Lingenfelter Pulleys as well as a Lingenfelter Intercooler and a Lunati Cam. We had last minute issues with the TCI Controller software. We were able to get that fixed but by Sunday they would not let us run.
I am not interested in any 3 run true street deal. Heads up and 3 rounds of qualifying. That format sucked and it prevented some cool cars from being able to make runs on Sunday. If I wanted true street I would have entered true street.
