I have a 3 part question guys.

Does the 05-06 gto have a cold engine rev limiter at 6200 rpms?

If it does can someone tell me the values it would use to determine whether it should lower the rev limiter such as coolant temperature or oil temperature?

Lastly besides lowering the rev limiter will the computer alter any other values of a tune such as timing and so forth?

You will get a bit what I like to call "bonus timing" when the IAT and ECT fall below certain levels. Don't have HP tuners logs right here to tell you what those values are.

Hmmm maybe I will invest in hp tuners. Also this is off topic but we have almost the same car stable. I have an 87 grand national and a 05 gto. My dad has a 86 t type wh-1 and a 2009 g8gt. What are the odds?

You and your dad just have good taste.
