well I have a 2008 gmc single cab with a 6.2 engine, it have gone trought 6 stock lifters, will the ls7 solve my problem or should I buy another ones. btw I am shifting at 6800 rpm thanks

You may want to give some more detail, something sounds very wrong to be eating up lifters like that.

well the first time that lifters broke was bacause the cam was not thighten as it should be so the cam moved while I was driving and 3 lifters broke, i replaced them with 5.3 engine lifters, so maybe 5.3 lifters are not good .

Technically the LS7 lifters are now stock. They don't produce stock LS1 lifters anymore. I don't know if the 5.3 and LS1s had the same lifters although I assume they would. Throw the LS7 lifters at it and call it a day. It may be a good idea to get new pushrods while your at it. The LS7 lifter cup sits roughly .06 higher than stock.

Are the lifters turning in the trays?? Does that sound like something that lines up with your problem?? Maybe consider replacing them too.

You might have too much preload that eats your lifters. Check pushrod length
