I may have an opportunity to switch my intake manifold from a Lingenfelter to a Z06 intake mainfold. Should I switch or no?? I know this is a pretty vague post but I have no specs on the Lingefelter intake, and it is not on their website. Best thing I could say to give a depiction of the Lingefelter is: it is chrome :) . If you need more info I can call the guy I bought the car off of.

Get the LS6, the lingenfelter will heat soak.

I somehow found the intake manifold that is on the car.

I am not hard on the car and will probably go to the drag strip once a monthly or once every two months. Is it worth the the investment to switch?

Rumor has those things are not so good. They hold heat. Hey its your money if it was me I would do the LS6 easier to keep clean also.
