I have a 2006 Z06, wanting to pull my LS7 heads and do All Pro heads but I've heard that with the all pros having the valves in a different location that there would be piston to valve issues and I'd have to either change or notch the pistons. Anyone running these heads on a stock short block? Cam size specs?

You heard correct it is slightly different,, you will need to check ptv you might not need to flycut depending on the cam gforce did one a short while back check with them.

the more I look through old posts etc, it seems like I am better off throwing a cam in my ls7 and springs! Looks like the hand ported ls7 heads and even the all pro, & etp are only getting less than 20 more RWHP. looks like if it were a bigger cube solid roller it'd be worth doing the other heads.

Bro, people are making over 600 RWHP with cam upgrades, exhaust upgrade, porting their LS7 heads and LS7 intakes and a tune. Don't waste your money on All-Pros...no need.
Where do you live?
