LS4 Front-Drives 2005-2009 - Went to the Track today...

Took the GXP to the track today... We had a rental so it was all ours... weather was not the greatest... cold and overcast with 75% humidity... Track was cold too... my car has a K&N intake, Hogan DP and 2.5" DP back with Magnaflows. Havent gotten it tuned yet... this was the first time the car has seen the track... first run went 14.1 at 99 with a 2.4 short time... (because I'm an idiot and forgot to take the traction control off), second run was 13.98 at 101 with a 2.2 short time... Third run was nice 13.84 at 102 with a 2.1 short time... last run went 13.83 at 102 with a 2.0 short... Overall I was happy... Cant wait to get the car tuned... and put a trans cooler in... that thing cooks !!

Nice times, your track must be pretty good to get a 2.0 on a cold track.

Damn thats pretty fast man my best time is 14.51 stock, but with the mods I added and a pair a slicks I'm hoping to do a lot better this coming wednesday.

While the ET is good, I'm impressed with the MPH...I wish we had a track like that out here.

Well for anyone who is from the northeast... the track I went to is Raceway park in Englishtown, NJ...although im super impressed with the trap speeds, the day was bad, I think the Density Altitude was just on the positive side... anyway just spoke with Matt @ Tune Time Performance in Toms River NJ, (if anyone is in the Northeast this is the guy to go to ...) hes a wizard with HP tuners... and hes got a MD Mustang dyno... the car is going there Saturday for plugs and a tune... and back to the track on Sunday for SS vs. SRT day... BTW thanks again guys... and thanks Corny40.. the intake is great !!
