Ok, I was thinking, but cant seem to get it.

What happens if you run a blower cam on a high CR say 12.3:1 motor on 93 octane pump.

I know people have done a little more than that with big ass cams, but how about small blower cams, say like the LS9 cam.

You would need to calculate what the resulting DCR is.

When the static compression is high the IVC event becomes especially important. Blower cams "tend" to have a shorter intake duration and thus the IVC event occurs sooner, and thus the DCR is raised.
