Southern Members - 9.08 "Cam Only" 1k ft track

Well had a good night at the track. Kris and i finally got together to get the tune ironed out.
first pass of the day i went 9.23 ( a new pb) so i knew it was going to be a good day
my times got faster as the night went on
some other passes were 9.19, 9.16, @111mph with a 1.53 60ft

the final round of efi i went 9.07@112, and backed it up with a 9.09 @111.91mph both were 1.51 60ft! 1/8th mile times were 7.0x at 98

I was very excited to say the least!

big thanks to Kris the tune was lined out with in 4 passes! not to mention we picked up two tenths as the night went on and almost a full 2 mph

still have not got to run this car at a 1/4 mile track maybe i will make it down to thunder road sometime.

i am thinking it is damn close to a 10 sec pass if not there, we will see

could be depending on variables, but I've always been under the impression it take a 6.9x 1/8th to run a 10.9x :drive: either way your REALLY close if not there!

Good job Ren!! I guess im goin "beef" up the LT1 and c what she'll do until i get the funds to build a stroker. Me and my bro gona change up quite abit on his car 4 next season cuase it should be running 8s on motor and not mid 9s LOL

Take some weight out of the car and lets tune it for the 150 shot. That little stock 346 is going to hurt some feelings. lol

sounds good to me, i will be doin a battery relocation, possibly this weekend to clear room for the dedicated fuel box i made. then this summer i plan on doin alot, lookin at elec water pump, manual rack, sway bar, shocks, asp crank balance. should be gettin pretty deep into the 8's with those goodies.
