Well integra had been talking a WHOLE lot of crap. Wanted to throw down 1000+ plus cash. But when we got to the show they didnt want to do much of anything asking for the backtire and all this blah blah blah. We had raced the last weekend coming home from the strip and i didnt mess with them because they were just trying to get a free run. Just kinda fooled around so they went aound telling everyone they gapped my car. Well that didnt happen.

-This was the first run, grabbed second at around 45.
-The video on the first post is the second run and we grabbed fourth at 55 ish ha..

yea thats why you have to pull weight from them. u match the same setup z to the same setup goat.... z wins everytime. I have about 500lbs out of mine. Should even the scales a bit.

Im not a LS person at all, but I can definitely see the difference in those two cars just due to weight, and I think different geared 6 speed trans. if im not mistaking???? BTW, both were 5.7s

out of the box vehicle weights.... camaro - 3200-3300, gto - 3700-3800. f body has a significant advantage.

camaros vary within 100 to 200 pounds due to transmission, t tops, hard tops etc etc. Gtos only options were exterior color, interior color, and transmission.

yes. compare your firebird formula (ls1, m6, hard top, roll up windows, no features, etc etc) vs ss or ws6 with auto, t tops, full features etc. The weight adds up. Thats why the f body to have (for drag racing) is the firebird formula. Weigh a good amount less and do not have to worry about chasis twist as much due to the hard top instead of t-top.

i never said anything about having a driver in the car. I cant say i have ever seen a 3800 pound f body before... atleast not an NA one. My friends lt1 is a few pounds over 3600 with him in it.... iron motor, full 10 point cage, dana 60, 180 pound driver. Still has ac and everything the car came with except spare tire and jack.

but then again if we wanna get into it.... scales are just like dynos. Everyone shows a different number.

it really all depends on the scale as well. My friends 01 ss h/c car with stock 10 bolt rear end weighs 3345 without him in it. only things out of that car spare tire, jack, and ac.

We only shot it testing it through efi live.. injectors are stock and already running 110-120 duty cycle so to be safe we laid off!

BTW, this was a clusterfu** of a kit......Zex N2O sylenoid, Compucar main feed line, NOS dry nozzle, NOS pill, NOS 2lb bottle, Zex N2O lines from the noid to the nozzle, and im not gonna mention how the activation was ran! LMAO

id say run a wet plate kit.... they work awesome. The nozzles can be very troubled some times. One of my friends in a bolt on camaro was going 12.1 at 112 on motor and then strapping a 150 nozzle wet shot to it, only went 11.6 at 117. He sold the kit to another one of my friends who has a camaro that only goes 12.7 at 106 on motor. Strapped the same kit to the car but instead put a plate on it running the same 150 shot. Car went 11.7 at 122 mph (street tires). IMO a plate shot is worth the extra 100-200 bucks you spend on it. Gaurentees you the nitrous is atomizing with the fuel before entering the cylinder.

Oh I agree with you 100% on the wet kits. Im not a stranger to how they work, and how efficient and safe they are when used correctly. And yes, plates are very nice vs. a nozzle, but we were mainly focused on the "hiding" of the kit, so a dry is MUCH easier to hide!

Well, like was mentioned earlier, this one was hidden in about 2 hours while trying to find stuff to make it work. It wasnt hidden the best, but I guess it worked....The Teg "crew" even took the lid off of the car, shined a LED flashlight on the filter for about 15 seconds and never saw the nozzle, then shined the light DIRECTLY on the the noid (which was decked out with some fancy electrical tape) and never said anything about it! We kinda got lucky I guess.

Well, this guy goes and starts talking shit on clubhioctane.com, claiming he only lost by half a car to a car length. As ya'll know me and 9k are real good friends, and he told me he was looking in the rear view at the camaro's headlights. So you guys may wanna take a look at this. It's funny how some guys get so mad when their v8 loses to a boosted honda. But i mean a boosted integra vs a camaro with less than 400 whp it ain't too hard to figure out which one will win. Power to weight ratio is greatly in the integra's favor.

Well, this guy goes and starts talking shit on clubhioctane.com, claiming he only lost by half a car to a car length. As ya'll know me and 9k are real good friends, and he told me he was looking in the rear view at the camaro's headlights. So you guys may wanna take a look at this. It's funny how some guys get so mad when their v8 loses to a boosted honda. But i mean a boosted integra vs a camaro with less than 400 whp it ain't too hard to figure out which one will win.
