Florida Members - Orlando Veterans day parade- Nov 14 - Need Convertible F-bodies

This years City of Orlando Veterans day parade is being held on Saturday, Nov 14th at 10am. It will be televised live on Channel 13 news. I am in need of 7-8 Convertible F-bodies that are willing to carry VIP’s in the parade. We are not picky on the year, just as long as they are parade ready. The cars WILL be driven by the owner and magnetic signage may be provided by the city marketing dept. The car and driver will need to be available from 8:30 am until noon on parade day. Many Classic Camaro of Central Florida members have participated in the past and will be carrying members of the Ex-Prisoners of War group again this year. As a participant and organizer for the event, I can say that this is a lot of fun and a great way to say thanks to all the millions of past and present men & women of our countries Armed Forces.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've seen Allen's name. I don't have a convertible, and chopping the top would hinder other car activities. The only vets riding in the parade are members of the Ex-Prisoners of War group? Only reason I ask is because I have a handicapped Vietnam vet neighbor who I'm sure would enjoy this. Unsmooth pavement and/or a jarring suspension cause him pain in a car though.

Thanks for the bumps guys. I had a meeting the other day with the city and unfortunately for all the T-top cars, we must have convertibles due to the number of passengers in each car. Thank you to all the T-top cars that have offered up. We are still 3 cars short and I hope I dont have to go down and rent some mudstang convertibles.. If anyone knows of some f-bod converts or muscle car verts that are interested, I could really use the help.
