I am selling my '88 GT to help fund another project. The car ran great and everything worked until the oil pump went out and it spun a rod bearing o the bottom end. Car still starts but runs very rough and dies. A whole new 5.0 for these cars can be easily found for around $800 and a built bottom end for around the same. I was considering doing an LSX swap in it, but just don't have the funds nor the time for that right now. On the other hand, since the car is almost totally stock, I was also thinking of just getting another bottom end in it and selling it for around 5 or 6k.
As far as fox bodies go, this one is in excellent condition and was my dd for a few months. It has 126k original miles and a new set of Cobra R wheels with BRAND NEW tires (245's up front and 275's in the rear). The AC and heater still work and I JUST installed new rotors, pads, AND whole new calipers up front and whole new drums out back. The paint is in decent shape but whoever did it didn't replace the trim panels and simply painted over the red stripe that wraps around the car so its beginning to peel on the door trim pieces. I would just go ahead and replace them anyway though since they aren't that expensive and it would look a lot better. The trans shifts quick and crisp and the interior is in decent shape, other than the common headliner starting to sag a bit. The cruise control even still works. In the pics it has the louvered GT tail lights but I just put on a better looking set of the LX style the other day. Both will be included with it though.

In this pic, the car has a BBK cold air intake, but I took it off and sold it separately so it now has the sock back on.
