Well, over this summer a lot of parts went out on me this summer, so im just curious what everyone else broke?
For me: :emb:
Crack in radiator
Powersteering line sprung a leak
Rack and pinion was leaking from boot just before I put it away :(
Fog light bulb
Battery
Tires.... more or less my fault lol
I guess it could of been worse!
Not looking forward to getting tires, rack and pinion and an alignment in the spring. Guess thats just part of the game!

uhhmm well my first fbody was a v6 firebird so i dunno if you wanna count that.
My second fbody was a 00 Z28 with 97k miles with bolt ons that I trashed almost everyday.
My current WS6 has trex cam, volant cai, 82mm TB, LS6 intake, pacesetter lts, dual exhaust dumped rear axle, 275 nitto's, few other things im sure I am forgetting. Makes 423rwhp through stock heads and "stock" LS6 intake mani. I am getting FAST 92/92 set up soon. Hopefully gonna get 440-450rwhp. I do baby my car though.

I had a nitrous backfire blow my MAF all to shit, blew the grill in the hood out and even spit some smoke and fire out the hood. All I did was chunk the MAF and switch over to SD and amazingly the car is still running strong. I think my clutch may be slipping a little too but other than that it's been a good year :)

is this sgm at fort sill? does he have a cobra?
my list is short this year. sad to say i only put about 5k on my car this summer. its usually tripple that. I got a late start from last years carnage tho. had to finish trans rebuild, clutch, driveshaft from last year. that was after everything in the rear came out the cover, tq arm wrapped around driveshaft(first one) and im not sure what else. this year...
axle and a spool i think are about it for this year, after i got the bugs worked out from last years carnage. oh and i just developed a bad oil leak over the weekend. not sure what that is yet.
but its not over yet. gotta street car showdown in two weeks. will report back after i break something new. lol

Totalled my 95 Z-28, bought my 99 Trans am, only broken things are a head light motor which will be fixxed soon and my passenger side window motor.
Slave cylinder went out which meant dropping the tranny. Of course it snowballed since I decided I may as well replace the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel while the tranny was out and also replace the clutch master cylinder just to be safe.

Wow where to start...
August my Spec Stage 3 started slipping. Had to pull trans again, however clutch looked perfectly fine? Threw in a new slave cylinder and flywheel and oh course along the way ran into a million problems. (Mind you all while working on our backs in my rock driveway with the car on jackstands.) One night putting the trans back in somehow the metal rod comming off the slave cylinder snapped. The something didn't quite line up and we were not able to bleed the slave. Had to pull the trans again and realign the clutch. Put it back together and drove it for 1 week and 1 day...
Then a friend bought a 93 Camaro Z28 with work done that supposibly ran 12.60's. He called me out b/c I ran a 12.56 in my car. Well we raced. After I put 6 cars on him my driveshaft blew out my c-clips on my driveshaft, sent my driveshaft smashing into my tailshaft casing on the T-56, completely cracking it IN HALF. I'll post pics of the damage. Also put a nice dent in the driveshaft meaning I needed a new one. Had to pull trans again to fix it and once again ran into a million more stupid little problems. (I.e. slave cylinder bolts stripped so had to get new ones tapped, new tailshaft case was not fully milled and had to get 4 shifter holes tapped.) Finally got it all back together and had a hard time keeping my brackets tight, finally got that figured out now I learned I need a torque arm....plus an alternator. Just got a new battery 3 days ago...ohh blew out a whole bunch of speakers...and 2 new rears tires and need fronts soon. Last thing lol I need a new 02 and extention.
