I have seen this commercial of Cadillac CTS Coupe (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ7QkAOYkwA) and it looks awesome. I like how it shows the evolution of the car

i can say that the 2009-2010 front fascias look completely badass even on the base model 09 cts. that is a cool commercial but i wish there were some more close ups of the cars.

it doesnt show the evolution. it just shows on the new models. the new cts look. the new wagon. the new suv. the new coupe

I know the V series is dead, but is there any word of a V8 going in the coupe? The new SRX is what my wife wants to replace her Grand Prix with.

i dont think the new srx is based off the cts chassis anymore. I think its a saturn vue with a fancy front and rear end and a few cadillac badges.

Theres is a CTSV coupe coming.
SRX isnt based on the CTS chassis nor the saturn vue. Its based off a new platform that will be shared with a saab crossover that is between the vue/equinox and traverse/acadia/etc size wise

A CTSV wagon is also in the works, as far as I know.

Not sure what your talking about...Cadillac will offer 3 CTS V models (4 door, coupe & wagon) all with the same 556hp motor.
I have spotted this car rolling around Detroit.

A couple years ago GM announced the performance division (which also managed the V series) was ending...I guess they decided to keep it!

Thats what I read as well, that all of the current models would be produced thru their projected life span. However the performance division which included the V's didn't have anything new being worked on. Glad it seems that the publication was mistaken!

it would just weigh to much to be worth the trouble.
