been using hard tonneau covers for awhile and wanted a different look. A lite bar was practically given to me and it looks like you have to cut into the sail panels to install. If so I might want to find a spare set to chop up. Do the TT or HT panels happen to fit?

i dont know what TT or HT panels are.....but you do have to cut into the side speaker panels.

I think he's just asking if anyone know's if the inner sail pannel(speaker panel) will work
from a T-top car=TT or a hard top car=HT on a vert=convertible

you got it right Trans-Dad. I probably will eventually get away from the lite bar and then I will have hacked up panels. I have a 99 ss vert w/408 and 29k for mileage. Just wanted to increase my chances of finding an extra pair if the T-top and Hardtop ones also fit. Thanks!

I'm doing the roll cage eventually. I love the look with the top down and plus if you were to roll it at least you have something there to help keep you alive.

if i was to do it again, i would probably do the roll bar. the light bar was waaay to much money, i think, and mine is starting to peel off the inner part where its held together. and it started to do that fairly quick after i installed it. on the other hand, i do need the back seat for my kids. i dont know if they would fit with the roll bar.

Yeah the lite bar looks good in my car & I haven't had any prob. w/it., But I think if I were you running 408 & prob. big HP I'ed go ahead w/a true 6pt. roll bar i've seen it done
tastefully with the back seat in place. It would def. help stiffen up the vert as well!

When I added my lite bar before I did so I made sure I could find a set for just that purpose, this place has them for like $100 set plus shipping, I use them a lot, great people and good service too.

Do you have the RKS tonneau cover or the factory cover?
