Paint & Body Work - Paint Block? Lid? Intake? TB? What else? What color?

I've got an 02 SS. Everything including the bay is being shaved and repainted an Audi Phantom Black Pearl. The motor going in is an LS1 427. Ported Fast 92mm intake, Fast Toys Lid. Should I get the intake and lid painted to match the car? Should I paint the block with a high temp black? Any other color? Help appreciated.

A nice red would look really good against black. If it wouldn't be too much trouble I would have it painted just to help stand out from the crowd.

Is everything black or do you have a highlight color you are working with? If so, paint them that color. nothing is worse than everything painted one color so nothing stands out.

I don't have a highlight color I'm working with. I'm thinking I'll leave the block as is. Here are some pictures of some of the parts I just got back from the polisher. I thought I'd paint the intake and lid to match the car. I'm worried that paint would chip off of the lid.

how do u get an LS1 to 427? damn lol id like to know, plus i thought the reason people dont really use LS1's anymore is because of their limitations, i was thinking of going with an LS7 if i can afford one sometime, but if i can build this LS1 to something like yours then ill keep it
