new here at ls1tech. joined to learn some stuff bout ls motors since im only 18 and lookin to build something soon and only have experience with 3800 series 2 motors and all my friends drive 4 bangers. got any hints or any deals you would like to share by all means do so.

i just want to learn everything i can about ls motors. id like to completely build one next summer. drop it in any cheap fbody i can find. right now fastest car iv had went 13.89 on the 1/4. would love a mid 10s street car within 2 years

I'm in the learning curve right now too. I think I'm gonna go with a LS2, but I'm not in love. If I can find a REAL cheap LS1 it's mine and I'll just get busy with bolt-ons until I pass out!
What car did you have when you ran that 13?
My Civic runs just a cunt hair faster on steelies but your right mid 10's would be nice!
