VIDEO OF CAR DOING HIGHWAY RUNS ON 17th post!!!Just got the car dynoed with the G5X3 cam (114l sa),Rest of Mods in sig. Final Numbers--415/378 SAE Corrected ( standard #'s is 428/402). Thought those where some good numbers. Car still has stock throttle body and stock intake manifold! Car was tuned by Race Proven Motorsports.
Too bad I couldnt try out the new power yet because I also got a built trans, rear, clutch and gears at the same time.
Heres a quick video taken from my Cell phone, So the sound in the video does no justice to real life...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdVprpaJiME

what are the specs on that cam?
I not 100% sure but I think the specs are around 236/242, .600/.610 on a 114lsa.
Its definitely on a 114 lsa though

Nice numbers OP, very similar to what I put down with an X3 on a 112lsa in my old F-body.
Cam specs are 234/242 600 610 112/114

Thanks for the correction on the exact cam spec...I thought it was either a 234 or a 236

Those are solid numbers. I've always like the results I've seen with that cam. If my heads were able to handle a cam that size, I probably would have purchased it a while back.
Get that clutch broken in and beat the hell out of it!

damn those are nice number for the cam. I actually will be putting in the g5x3 cam in my car soon also. I have same ls6 intake and ls1 heads so hopefully i could be close to what your making.
How does it drive? I have it on a 114 LSA also. Do you have a dyno graph so we can see the hp/tq curves?

Great results!
I like my x3 quite a bit. Before the Fast I was at 436/392.
A Fast would be a great next mod, see dyno and track results in my sig.

I have a copy of that cam on 112 lsa and I made 400rwhp, 400trq to the wheels through a auto and danaS60. Cam only as well with a fast 92/92 and all the regualar bolt-ons. 243 castings with springs milled down to bump the compression(11-1) up as well. My numbers on par with the rest the people running this cam?

how do you like the 3:90s with it?
3.90's are RIDICULOUS!! The car is always in power band now.
Thanks ncfastls1, Yes this exhaust set up is amazing. To be honest I havent heard a c5 vette that sounded better. Not to be bias or anything but just my OP.
BTW car made 428rwhp/402rwtq uncorrected numbers(STD)

I've been a fan of that cam for years. I had it in my 2002 Z28 for a while, it made 393rwhp/364rwtq on our Mustang Dyno back in 2004. Car had (at the time) a Yank SS4000 converter, Hooker S/C Headers with a cut out, and SLP Lid. Ran a 11.6@116 with a 1.50 60" on ET Streets.
