On my L76 G8 motor, I am deleting the AFM and going to a LS3 style cam.

I have ordered new lifter trays, but am unsure if I need to order bolts as well. Do the existing lifter use a similar tray that has bolts I can re-use? I have never seen a picture of what these lifter valleys look like on AFM engines.

Yes your AFM engine has similar lifter trays already fitted.
The bolt torque is 10Nm or 89 in lb so it does not look like they are torque to yield bolts, you could reuse them.

Thanks for the confirmation! I figured the trays were attached the same way, and did not buy the bolts. It costs almost as much to buy the bolts as it does to buy new trays! I am hoping to button the whole job up in one day and did not want to leave the engine apart for several days while I waited for bolts.
