Welcome to LS1tech!
If you are planning on doing a lot of racing, and new rear end is never a bad idea. Being that you have an auto, it will take some abuse. There are plenty of people running 1.5-1.6 60' times on the stock 10 bolt.
Just fyi, you probably don't have 385 rwhp. With exhaust and a lid thru an auto its probably closer to 325 rwhp.

I think a good rearend is in your future, but not a must until you start running slicks and get a little higher up in hp. I would work toward something you will enjoy on the street. One of our budget short blocks, and a cam upgrade will get you closer to needing that rearend.
Oh and when you do get ready for that rearend we can help with that to!!

Yeah this guys right. You're not rocking anything near to 385whp. Although I think hes wrong also, you might be closer to 285-300whp..

You're full intake and exhaust requires a tune. Without the tune you're either running rich or lean. Everyone else will tell you "WTF are you talking about, full bolt ons don't require a tune. Well to get anything out of them you do need a tune. Plain a simple. I don't care how new I am to this forum.
Get a dyno tune and you'll see 330whp/340wtq.

Welcome to LS1tech Bob. There are many vendors on here that offer great, performance parts for your SS. I would try and research for ideas on what mods to start with. I find a little personal research makes us learn as we go, which is a good thing. Nevertheless, I suppose I can give you my ideas...I would start with a Rear, then a slightly mild cam upgrade with a new stall. Go from there... If you would like some actual parts (that have been known to be very good) or what ppl like, send me a message and I'll help you out. Again, welcome to the forum. -Matt
