i bought my car with 342's and the car ran real strong but i spun a berrring when had motor work to my car i had them change out my gears to youkon 411's after i got my car back it felt strong but not like it did before i thought the mechanic might nhave messed it up my car topped out at about 130 and sounded like shit i recently had a tune up and had 342's back in and the car is back thank god 2 more mustangs under my belt since i got it back any body else have the same problems

Uh yeah, it's called you need a tune... PCM thought you were going 157 or whatever the limiter is set at when you were only going 130. And if you're an auto, your shift points were wrong. Good job.

PS- Run on sentence much?

What sounded like shit? Gear noise or something else? Maybe you just needed the tune up more than you thought. Gear doesn't do much for performance but it will make your car "feel" like it's a lot faster.
