I am looking for a really good detailer in NH. If anyone knows of a place / person please let me know. I'd like my T/A to have a professional detail done before I put it away for the winter.

If I was closer, had a garage and a couple of days I'd glady do it.

Detailing outside sucks more and more.

Where are you located Joe ? I might just tackle it myself if I cant find anyone. The buffer scares me though. I'd rather not ruin my paint.

I am in Stoughton, MA but I live in a condo so no garage for me.....

Where in NH are you?

The buffers are fine; if your really worried just stick with a random orbital and there is no chance of burning your paint. The rotary polishers are the bad larry's that build up alot of heat very very quickly. A random orbital is really save and it'll save hours if not a day if you really get into every little detail of the car.

Seacoast NH here. So I think its just under a 2 hour drive to Stoughton. I think I may just do some research and try it myself. I will get a random orbital.

If you want to get into detailing you wont need much:

Cleaning stuff
Soap
Mitt
Bucket
Rim cleaner
Brush
Microfibers

Paint prep stuff
Clay bar
Medium polish
Light polish/cleaner

Paint protection
Wax or sealent

Polishing machine
Random orbital polisher
Heavy cut pads (2 pads)
Med cut pads (2 pads)
Light cut pads (2 pads)

If I lived closer I'd just bring my stuff up and show you what to do and let you test everything out.

Hey Brian,

I bought a porter cable 7424 orbital buffer with several pad over the summer. I did my Z last week and also the wifes Camry and it works awesome. If you want to use it you can. I have the heavy medium and light pads as well as a glaze pad. I spent 5-6 hours on my wife car which is white like yours and was amazed what a difference it made. I watched several videos on youtube which teaches you how to use a spot light and see when the wax is breaking down and working, took my time and the car came out great!Don't get me wrong prob not perfect but very good.also very very difficult to hurt paint with this machine. let me know Ill pm you my # if your interested. BKDZ28, it's not like putting a monkey into outer space. Do it a few more times and your car will look better than 99% of the cars on the road. It's a good feeling.

Consider cleaning/light cleaner polish/protect your rims as you would your paint. They shine alot more and for someone with a detailing eye it makes a huge difference. Cleaning them with left over soap/water you use on your car is a cool bonus.

Hey Bryan, I appreciate the offer but I just ended up buying one so I could start doing it myself. I just stocked up on some Zaino products as well. I will post pictures of my results.

I would do it for you but at the moment I don't have a garage.
