just curious how many numbers so a stall converter use up i have a ls1 stock bottom 243 heads shortie headers 225/229 .580-.590 pp cam and the stall is a 3200 dynojet said 280hp on 2nd pull then twisted driveshaft in half just seems low i know there only numbers but that sucks

anyone i have seen several dyno results with this cam and 241 heads they have been around the 340-360 rwhp range mine should be all over that is my converter bad

Looks like one of those truck shafts that are rated for 90mph.Had a few of those break before.

Depends on the stall and what gear they ran the vehicle in.If it is a truck I run them in 2nd gear due to driveshafts and tire ratings which could definitely give lower #'s like your seeing.

yea the engine is in my s10 it was the stock driveshaft he said he was at around 120 when it came apart the stall is from acc converters 3200rpm i don't like it feels way looser than 3200 probably a pos going to a yank in january not sure what gear he is running it in we will find out this friday when i get him to finish tuneing

Probly a not efficient converter.
