Looks like a nice, fun, big autocross. I wish the events around here were as open. They tend to be much tighter and compressed.

takes practice. you always walk the course once or twice beforehand, and usually the first lap out is a parade lap. if the course it at least halfway designed right, it should be clearly marked and not so easy to fuck up. when they start getting lackadaisical and skipping cones is when it gets confusing.

I usually walk the course 3 times. I also do mental imagery too. On my first lap, I want to know where I'm going without a doubt. Doubt causes slowness.
