Pontiac G8 2008-2009 - need some good engine bay photos...

we have a G8 GXP in the shop that we are doing a 427 build for. Well the car was at the dealership first because the customer was hoping they could cover it under warranty.

The dealer took the car apart and then denied his warranty so when the car showed up at our shop, the motor was out of the car along with a lot of stuff that should have never been removed.

I need photos of the main fuse block and all the wiring that runs from it down in front of the engine and over to the alternator and charging post on the drivers side.

Just some good random shots of the engine bay should do fine.

Thanks.

with less than 1500 miles on a bone stock car, multiple valves hit multiple pistions. GM in their infinite wisdom simply replaced a some pistons and valves, rather than giving the guy a new motor.

a thousand miles or so after that, there was a rod hanging out the side of the block.

warranty denied due to "abuse" acording to GM.

long story short, if you are thinking about modding your G8 but hessitate because you want to save your warranty.....dont bother. Go ahead and mod the hell out of it because they will deny your warranty anyway.

I remember reading about this but have not heard if the owner pressed the issue any further as of yet.

A stock ls3 should not blow up after 1500mi. I don't care how hard it was beat. Something is missing to the story, this does not make sense. However if my friend stops by in his g8, I will take some pics for ya! His is a l76, not sure how much difference there is between the 2, as far as the engine bay configuration.
