Can paint less dent repair be used to remove the dimples/dings created in the rear quarter panels on our cars?

Yes they are metal. Despite the the reports on here about buckling I have yet to see one dimple/buckle due to power and I have seen a 9sec sprayed car cutting high 1.3 60' no SFC's. A short torque arm and HARD braking will cause wheel hop and dimpling however and I would think harder to remove with PDR.

i have a little dimple on both quarter panels with 415rwhp but no subframe connectors

I got dents that are pretty uniform with each other. like both sides

I test drove a 2000 Z28 and it had the dimples that were pretty much located in the exact same spot on each side. And this was a BONE stock Z28 A4 with 73k miles on it.

I truly believe that these dimples don't occur due to power. It is anytime the car is put into a bind. Say you are on a level road and you turn of to a uphill drive way. And you go over it at an angle. All four wheels are at a different height. I think stuff like this is what the problem is.

This is very possible. When I bought my car with 16K miles it had NO dimples, driven by a gentlemen in his late 40's so I can't say he drove it hard. I have the car with 23K miles as of today and I have two very, very light dimples in the quarter panels. Car has a SLP lid and no suspension mods or any other mods for that matter. I also wouldn't say I rag on the car either. No launches, no drops etc etc. Sure, I hit it on the street but never got wheel hop either? Weird.

mine has none, i think they are caused by the body rolling from auto x ing or sharp turns. since they are welded on they dont give like the front ones do so that may have something to do with it. maybe better sway bars would help.

too bad we cant do a rear strut bar if that could possibly fix this.

Well I know one thing. I don't do any auto x and no crazy ass turns on the roads either. I just drive the car and occasionaly pound on the gas when I get the urge which is usually off a roll.

However, all things aside I would like to know a permanent solution to this issue. Looks like SFC are not the solvent based on what I read from other threads?

That is a horrible problem glad my truck doesnt do that!

Anywhere on the panel right above the rear wheels. My one side is like in the panel right above the wheel and the other side has two all the way at the top of the panel. Very uniform dents. I would try to get a picture but I don't want to get my lazy ass off the couch. :D Sorry maybe later

I would think SFC's would help a lot. Anything to stiffen body roll.

mine seems to be where the r/side forward hatch meets the rear quarter, its just a slight hump, damn my car was stock when i noticed

PDR will take care of them, but they will eventually come back. I had mine done a few years ago and I'll probably have them done again soon.

As far as wrinkling goes, I got a nasty crease in my RR quarter that I presume was from launching. And of course I'm far from making big power. I got it PDR'd out and it hasn't come back since installing SFC's. But the dimples have returned.

I have never noticed anything on mine, but the first mod I did was subframe connectors and that was very early on with very few miles.
