This was at 18PSI and on this run my line lock died. I was so flustered I didn't even do a burnout. These crazy damn tires still hooked and gave me my best run.

I tried a run at 19PSI but I blew the tires off on the launch. That run gave me my best MPH at 152.18

Good fun trying to better my times with these tires.

I'm not absolutely positive of the raceweight but if I calculate what I took off versus what I put on I'd say it's about 3450 without me in it. I weigh 285 so that totals about 3735. I have stock brakes in it with 1 full motored leather seat in it still. I figure I can drop maybe another 100lbs out of the car with things that should be replaced. But I need to add a drag bar, parachute, 2-step. The car has a full cage in it so I really don't need the subframe connectors anymore. My lower control arms are billet aluminum and I could probably save a few pounds there with a tubular setup.

At 19PSI I'm pretty much out of injector at that point. I'm getting bigger injectors over the winter and going up to 23PSI. Anything above that and consensus says I'll be pushing water. I'd rather be racing than replacing gaskets. The whole 4 bolts per cylinder issue here. Next year with the 2-step I can dial in how much boost I launch with and then use a ramp function on the boost controller to add more boost progressively.

What's cool about the drag radials is that I run these on the street when I take the car out on nice days. My car looks pretty much stock with the front license plate on it and the 4 WS-6 stock 17" wheels.

Nice job Charlie. Impressive to say the least. I have those same size tires on street wheels. They work great on the street. Put a tire on it and 8's are in the future. :eek2:

Thanks Mighty! I know I'll never be where you're at with an 8.73 but it's incredible to tihnk that you can have a car that looks stock, is relatively quiet and can run those numbers. Lots of fun trying to better the numbers.
