IIRC he swapped out the 3.4L DOHC for the 3100.

I have a friend in Edmonton Alberta that has a 1996 GP GTP with the 3400 DOHC...he bought a wrecked 97 or 98 GTP, rebuilt the 3800 (L67) S/Ced....I seen the car in person 2 years ago, he always takes care of it, but I seen pictures of it...man what a nice car......Looks the same as Mels, but white.

Unless your talking about chrome and red wire covering then no I can't see anything, besides last time I checked you can't see 90% of what you just listed, at least not in the pic. BTW, you mentioned pushrods twice. ;) Either way, cool car.
