Today we installed a ported intake and TB from Fasterproms. I don’t have any dyno numbers, but I can tell you that I am now driving a different car! My son, who was driving behind me, said the car looked to leap forward when I hit it. The car seems to respond faster, harder and longer. I actually have to relearn the gas pedal position for parking lots, it’s that different. My current mods are K&N, TBS, cat back Magnaflow and Diablo sport tune. I would have to say, without hesitation, that the intake and tb have increased the car’s performance more than any of my other mods. Fasterproms have been informative, helpful, available and they are standing behind their product.

So you don't need a dyno tune for this?

That’s what everybody says. But I also just took delivery on a N2O system that needs to be installed and I am out of money. My plan is to set it up for a 50 shot, change the plugs, pull a few degrees of timing and run it as is. Once I get some more money I will bump it to a 75 shot and then get it tuned.

you won't be saying that once you have your nitrous installed :D
Its nice to hear that intake made a difference though. I've been bashing that stock POS since day one. Just imagine what an LS6 would do.
