Before the right rear exhaust tip, there will be a split in the piping and you can unbolt that and slip in one of the 4 plates, i believe it came with 4, to adjust the sound of it. The bigger the plate=the louder the car and vice-versa. You can also run no plate which would be the loudest.

If you have the adjustable one. There are 2 of them. One is adjustable the other one is not.

You can tell the adjustable from the non adjustable simply by looking at the tail pipe tips. If you have four of them, and they are basically square in shape, you have the adjustable one most likely. If you have only one round one on each side, you most likely have a non adjustable one.

That of course is assuming the tips that came with the setup were put on, and not some other ones... That's a quick way to check without looking under the car, otherwise look for the split in the right side pipe before the muffler.

I have the adjustable Borla and in place of the plates, I have an electric cutout where the pipe splits. That way I can go from full closed to full open, and anywhere in between, with a flip of the switch. No getting under the car and take a plate out and putting in a different one if I want to change the sound...

I have the two dual square tips so it sounds like its the adjustable one. I like the idea of putting a cutout there. I was thinking about getting one and that sounds like a good place to put it. Although the exhause is pretty loud as is.. im always setting off car alarms :eyes:

if it is already pretty loud you probably don't have any baffle in it. I have the Borla and no baffle and it is basically a cut out. It's not real loud until WOT.

Yea im thinking it doesn't have a baffle in there right now. Haven't had a chance to look yet. Its pretty loud all around not just at WOT but i love the loud deep tone.

You'll love having the electric cut out there... Sounds great, and if you want to be respectful of neighbors at night, or early morning, you just close it... Convenient, yet allows for full enjoyment of a deep rumble...
