So i was really close to buying a 2010 and decided not to :( Now i've started thinking that the 45th is coming up in a few years, do you guys think the camaro will make it till then? i'm sure they will make it special somehow.

I don't think that matters. It doesn't mean 45 years in succession. It means 45 years ago, the Camaro first came into production. That's how I think about it.

I sure hope we continue to get the camaro for many years to come, but with GMs woes and the current economic situation, if I had the money and wanted a new 5 gen really bad Id think long and hard about getting one now rather than waiting for a possible 45th anniversary model that may be nothing more than a paint scheme/wheel combo. Just something to think about man.

i had heard rummors awhile back before the 5th gen hit the street that it was only going to be in production a short time and then gm would scrap it again. But it was a rummor. It seems to be selling good and money talks.

Dont put it past them, they did it with the Corvette (2003, 50th Anny). Only (1) 1983 Corvette ever survived testing. Was never sold, and is in the Bowling Green Kentucky Museum.

A 550hp LSA Z28 would make a great 45th car :D

With the Camaro selling as well as it is Im sure it will be around for a long time again. The 2010 is a great car and has out sold mustang for 6 months in a row! I think the more this gets out there and becomes available on dealer lots it will only get more popular.
Look at SEMA this year TONSSS of camaros its an aftermarket dream come true!
