Hi ,good to be hear i have always read on this site now im a ls1 owner,we gonna but a XER287HR cam in my stock 2002 6.0 ls1 and going carb setup,have a 4000 stall and turbo 350 trans,4.10 gears, 28" tires in a 71 nova any ideas on what kinda HP id have , we but the same cam in a 6.0 with 5.3 worked heads and run 10.62 in good weather with the same stuff except the heads so id like to see what HP im gonna be close to

well im just kinda confused that a "stock" 6.0 with cam and heads would be able to run that well. to run that kind of time i'd say you had about 500-550whp. but i dont see that kind of power being made with that cam and those heads on a 6.0. im not doubting you, im just jumping in like you asked us too. cuz i would fuckin love to run that kind of time with my 6.7.

YEs he is running that number if fact he sent a set of heads to get a bench flow and the guy said dont even bother with the heads cause it wont change a thing and dont know why he is going so fast but i do no his engine is a flat top motor that can out of a a danali with his heads shaved but he is hauling butt and has no 60' at all ,its all top end 60'times are 1.5 most of the time with 4.10 gears his mph is 127 that is 1 bad boy there he and his brother are tops on ls motors the telling me i should run 11.20 ,11.30 in good weather and i hope that is true
