Racer's Lounge - Borderlands

picked the game up last friday and its pretty addicting. its a badass game all around. has an assload of guns, plenty of people to kill, and the online co-op mode is pretty cool. anybody else tried it out?

I played a little on my buddy's PC the other day. Only got to level 8 with my character but I'm loving this game so far. I'm thinking about getting it for PS3 soon so a couple of us guys can try out the multiplayer online. It really screams Fallout to me, but the co-op is what's selling it for me.

What are your all's most used guns? I'm the sniper guy so my favorite guns are shotguns and snipers. Obviously guns come and go in this game but I'm at level 29 with some bad ass guns. I use all my level up points to upgrade my sniper skills. Now I pop everyones head clean off. I'll give the spec's of my best guns when I get home.

Nope, haven't played this game and have never got into shooting games. Might have to give it a try though one day.

i mostly use rifles. my current guys skills are focused on rifles, the one i got now does 132 damage. level 32 now.

I just finished the game a little while ago at level 36.
My most powerful sniper now is the "GGN40 Solid Volcano" with 313 damage, 10 rounds per magazine, and X4 Fire element. That gun incinerates anything in practically one shot.

I'll use my Scoped Revolver with 361 damage every now and then.

The rarest gun (dark orange color) I have is a shotgun called the "SG630 Fatal Flux." With 16 rounds per mag and X2 Explosion element. The stats aren't as impressive as some of my other shotguns, but it is by far the best.

I am a Soldier, and just have some decent, semi accurate (with a lvl 21 proficiency) assault rifles. My favorite weapons aside from some shot guns.

oh boy....we picked it up for PC. It runs on Shaver model 4, apparently this is not compatible with my PC so I had giant black blocks in the floor. My Brother was playing and came across two NPC's (not randomly either, encountered them following his way to a map marker) and apparently anything he had was only doing ONE damage, and they have an infinite range so that they followed him back to the checkpoint...where the game quick saved, and then he died. When He re spawned they were sitting there, Argo'd, and just killed him again. Either it's a really big glitch or the games just really poorly made.

I play around with co-op games at times, I played a lot of Halo 3 co-op. It's the competitive multiplayer stuff that I don't often take part in.

Finally got around to doing a review for the game.

nice write up. i agree, i found myself playing co-op online. single player got boring at times, all i play is co-op online now.
