I am toying with the idea of selling my car and wonder if anyone could give me a ballpark estimate of what I should ask for it. I have a 99 T/A WS6 in the color Medium Blue Metallic. I have done some internet research and read that there were only 200 firebirds ever made in this color and only in '99. It is a corvette color and was an experimental run on the firebirds that they did at the same time as the hugger orange on the camaros. Despite all this internet research I have never found anybody who had any hard evidence of these claims. One thing that I can say, is that in the 4 yrs I have owned it, I have never seen another one. I have also been told that none of the firebirds were WS6, so I assume that the hood and ramair components were added by a previous owner. So, other than the color thing (which I'm hoping makes it collectible, if you hadn't picked up on that), here's what I got:
95,000 on the odometer
383 stroker dynotuned at LMR in houston - 483 RWHP - built 6k miles ago
t56 level II built by tick transmissions in NC 3k miles ago
17" American Racing wheels - have spots that won't polish out w/ 315/40/17's in the read and 245/35/17's in the front
borla exhaust - really loud beastly growl
subframe connectors
no mechanical or electrical problems, I have just finished getting all the bugs worked out.
Here's the extent ot the cosmetic issues: Holes in the carpet underneath drivers side floormat, paint on hood is ever-so-slightly oxidized (most people wouldn't notice unless you point it out at a certain angle in the sun) and one tiny but noticeable paint chip on the hood. The door panels on both sides have a small split near the top. and drivers side window is sluggish/ sometimes won't go up all the way in one stroke.
