I have been working on a 71 2wd blazer conversion for a few years now. I had planned on using a th400 but I have decided I want something a little more street friendly (after building my ls1 4Runner). So my question is I have already had the harness reworked and removed the transmission stuff. So should I use a non computer controlled version, get a new harness and reprogram the computer or use a full manual transmission? I have hp tuners so programming isnt a problem. I just dont know which transmission to look for.
