Racer's Lounge - Saw a new Foed Raptor today

Yeah so I saw one pull into a parking lot today (sorry no pic). I thought these things wern't out yet? And it had regular Ohio license plates on it to. It looked good except for the big gay decals.

I saw one in a magazine. I think they look pretty cool, actually.

They are pretty cool trucks. I saw about 4 of them at a ford dealership on sunday, I wish I would of stopped to see what the inside looks like.

They need to do another Lightning with some of the FX2 and FX4 body appointments and offer a 6 speed. That would be a dream for me. A 500hp 6speed '10 Lightining. Or just do a FX2 with the 6.2 coming next year and an available 6 speed. Muscle trucks=awesome

i saw the show on speed where the made the racing one and showed like 3 regular raptors. they are a neat truck for sure that and a 03-04 cobra would be the only ford i would ever buy

Sorry no pics, drove by to fast. The only down side is that they cor like $40k I think? But thats the one thing I admire about Ford is their ability to make a cool car for a couple of years and get everyone to talk about it and then when it has run its course or they can't make it any more they kill it and move on to something better (i.e. 03-04 cobra, lightning).

i think they are hideous. i used to like the f150s but lately they are ugly. i liked the lightning.

2010 FORD SVT Raptor. yea I've seen like 3 in Santa Barbara since like 2 months ago... they look alright? kind of UGLY with the HUGE FORD lettering on the grille. its suppose to be Fords pre runner type truck for Ford off road racing. 5.4 liter engine, 320 rwhp & 390 lb tq. a 6.2 liter engine will be coming out soon that will be producing 411 hp & 434 lb tq.

I want one in a non-metallic dark grey, dark green, tan or flat black. The orange with graphics is pretty damn garish for a truck that might look at home in a Terminator or Mad Max type of movie.

Anyways its a pretty damn cool truck, I'm sure it'll be even better next year with the more powerful motor.

There has been one at a local dealership for about 3 months. Still sittinn there too lol

they're a real dog with the 5.4 (i test drove one, helps that my neighbor is the detailing shop manager at the local Ford dealer). and they seem to wallow around when you start turning the wheel. but from running it across an open field at nearly 80mph, i'll tell you right now that suspension is worth EVERY penny! smooth as friggen silk!
