Eastern Members - H/C/I SS looking for a race!

I have a friend who is looking for a race. Its a strong running H/C/I 346ci ss. If possible would like to find another H/C/I car or maybe even a good running 03/04 cobra. We are looking for something in the 125mph trap range. It unfortunately still has the 10 bolt rear end in it so digs are out of the question. Anyone interested? Ask any questions too. Hes a member on this board as well. We are located in Warwick RI.

Heres a video to show what you would be racing.... First race is between a 12.5 at 112mph bolt on SS vs a C5 Z06 with just an air intake. Second video is between the SS looking for a race and the Z06.

nah no racing for "dinero". Atleast not that much. Its more like in good fun. The only 2 cars that have beaten him are a 9.90 at 140mph cobra and a 11.0 at 135mph Rx7.

my vett is pretty much stock. 03 Z06, cold air kit, short throw shifter, clutch and MT drag radials. runs low 12's

my buddy would love to mess with him in his cobra as well, he runs strong.

Of course I did.Roll racing is a game of being in the right rpm area,fast shifting ect.I think they call it Rice Racing or something like that.We use to do it like 8 years ago when the Cops wouldn't impound your car/take your liscense for it.

Dont know what fast cars could be racing on the streets now though. At these temps I bet I'de blow the tires off halfway through third. Anything below 60 degrees and I just spin.. and tractions not really great unless its 70+ out

that sounds like a really cool car you have there. you definitely don't see many modded CTS-V's. The guy who started this thread should be setting up a meet soon, preferably after next Saturday, so I can be there. Going to Vegas for a week, YES.

it has fancy bogart wheels i took of my camaro when it was a street car. 17" rr-10's, also has rear tail light things that are like chrome line things and i put the mid america divider in between the trunk and cab, Z06 floor mats, ls7 shift ball on top of the b and m shifter, i did a TB bypass as well.
oh yea, and the noyzee racing sticker is worth atleast 50 hp!!!!!!!!

I'll get it damn close...watch. Everybody takes the easy way out with nitrous and forced induction, I'm sticking to it and I'll get it there. I've already got a 3600lb NA LT1 Street car well into the 10's and theres alot left on the table. Give me a chance, you know me I never take the easy way out.:guns:
