Hi -I have a 2000 B4C Project car I'm doing, I'm replacing the nose, headlights, parking lights, fog lights and styrofoam energy absorber w/ new OEM Aftermarket parts. My question is: Is this a job I can do in my garage w/ a hydralic jack & jackstands and basic handtools? or do i need to take it to a body shop

THANKS IN ADVANCE:cheers:

its all pretty easy stuff. i did it in my back yard without it lifted. it takes about a half an hour to remove but like schutts said, "it depends if you know what your doing"

yeah you can do it just be preppaired to spend cause i gotta replace my front bumber cause of a dog runnin out in front of me and a new bumber from the GM place said its around $400 to $450 and to have it painted and put back on is another $200 to $300 and thats base price it could go up from there so it all depends on what ya know and how much you wanna spend

yeah changing a bumper isnt bad at all, you should be able to handle it..

If you are 100% confident, do it yourself. Though if you aren't, I'd probably recommend going to a bodyshop.

I took my whole front off one afternoon. But i had to break out all the little black plastic clips holding the foam to the steel bumper.

Taking it apart is "easy." So is putting it back together. Getting everything lined up, well, that's what takes a lot of time. Especially if it isn't perfectly square due to a previous accident.

It is very easy to remove the bumper cover. Try it, what can you mess up? Nothing you just remove the screws/bolts and replace everything. Cant put anything back on wrong or backwards (if you somehow manage, sell the car and buy a prius lol)
