Yes I know the first one was very repetitive, but they say that this one will most definitely not have that effect. Repetitive or not my jaw dropped to the ground when i saw Damascus in the first one, here is a link to the launch center and some vids

Agreed, to repetitive. Would have been a good game otherwise. But unfortunately for Assassins I believe it will be cast to the side being released just one week after MW2.

I've done about five playthroughs with the first one, and I never found it repetitive AT ALL.

By the second playthrough, I had already concluded the best way to play was with the onscreen map turned off. While playing, you didn't know where the investigation targets were without really learning each street and the people of each town very well, making each one feel like a real investigation when you finally found one. I mean, am I gonna say Street Fighter gets repetitive because all you do is fight the same characters in the same locales? lol, The people that say the gameplay got repetitive really weren't learning the ins and outs of each city and just ran at each investigation while looking at the bottom corner map, IMO... Or it's just simply not their type of game.

The story was IMMENSELY intriguing, and this game is clearly even better.

I've had this game reserved for months... Can't wait.

I remember playing the first one and loving it. Free-running and successfully assassinating the target, then get away cleanly was a huge thrill. I think I'm one of the few that went through and killed all the Templars and found all the flags. Yeah...1000/1000 here. Lotta time spent there!

i just got tired of being surrounded by 30 people, fighting them one by one and winning every time.

Interesting... Those were my favorite parts, especially at the end when exposing Robert to King Richard and you really do fight like thirty guys.

I could do that all day.

Use that, it's a great guide.

On the kingdom overworld, I missed 1 flag...and had to go back through and figure out which one it was. That sucked. :) Good luck.

I really enjoyed the first one, I'll be looking forward to this one. I find that the first one is either a love-it or hate-it type of affair. I loved it because of the setting, the story, the graphics, and I thought that it had probably the best free-running of any game that's tried to do something like that.

I'll definitely pick it up, but right now I'm totally obsessed with Borderlands and Dragon Age.

Yeah I used it and somehow missed two templars!
