We've had lanes at Byron, rented US41, rented Cordova but never rented at Great Lakes Dragway.

Which track is the best to rent from in your opinion? Think about the following points:
1. Track Prep
2. Safety
3. Costs
4. Time to clean up an oil down
5. How they treat you as a driver or renter

Lately I've been plagued with long delays and minimal runs due to overcrowding, oil downs and crashes. Is one better than the other in your opinions?

GLD only does exclusive rentals on weekdays.

I always liked US41, Cordova is too much of a haul it's like 3 hours for me.

Byron's always been my favorite local track for a variety of reasons. I'll go there anyday over the others, Unfortunate that they're only open weekends and don't rent the track (with rare exceptions).

Our old US41 rentals were off the chizzang. I heard Denny's raised prices quite a bit for Saturday rentals, and I don't know if that includes EMT. Honestly if MFBA does not get on a recruiting push I don't think it's even a good idea to rent tracks.

I assume you have a permanent NHRA IHRA #? Tracks are becoming smarter. We have two wheel Tuesday, Permanent # Wednesday, Thursday test and tune etc. etc.

E-Mail your track manager or call. Normally they will listen. If the demand is there these folks will open the doors. About the only thing worse than what you mentioned is a track where a bunch of street tired cars just ran - and you come to the line next on slicks. :corn:

I think every track rental will have an eco package as well as the whole 9 yards. In your contract tell them what you want. They will tell you the cost. :hail:

41 won't call you back for a track rental, don't waste your time.
