i ahve a a4 ls1 camaro every time i stop i hear a clunk,coming from the rear end or the tranny any idea? almost like a rock

Check your transmission mount and torque arm mount (on the side of the trans). If either is worn or broken, they can cause a clunk.

did you have any shift points changed lately?

yeah my shift points were changed when i got a tune for my new H/C/I setup,it did it before too,but now it does it everytime i come to a stop

well if they have the car dropping into 1st too low in the mph that could cause it. i expereinced something similar and i uped the shift point and it went away. could be the problem.

I have this same issue... Sounds like a clunk as soon as it downshifts when coming to a stop. I guess im going to look into it now.
