Racer's Lounge - Anyone heard of MAG?

This looks like an awsome FPS. 256 players? holy crap! this game is either gonna be one of the best online first person shooters ever or its just gonna be straight up chaotic.

man that looks awsome. it seemed like it lagged for a little bit. thats one of the things im worried about, but graphics are legit.

This game doesn't appeal to me at all. But I can understand why people are getting excited about it.

I think this game has a lot of potential but is being overshadowed by MW2. I myself am a much bigger fan of the Battlefield series games then COD, so I am pretty excited. I much prefer killing with a purpose and objective in mind then the run and gun of COD.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 looks awesome too.

I loved Battlefield Bad Company. 2 looks like they're making the environments even more destructable with the ability to bring a whole house down on someone. (Take that wussy snipers)

I'm a huge fan of Battlefield 2... still play it at least once a week. 32 on 32 is def fun.

256 Sounds a little crazy. If they have aircraft, I can't even imagine how many points the pilots will be able to pile up, just thinking of BF2. I mean , the levels don't sound that much bigger then in BF2 for having that many more players.

To me, even though it says you will have individual objectives, I think some people could easily just ignore their little quest and just go for the kills instead, turning the whole map into chaos...

ive been reading more about it. im not sure how good it will sell, but it will definitly be interesting to see how a 256 player shooter will do...

This game was officially announced a few months after MW1's release.

MAG is going to be balls-out fuggin' crazy. I might buy a PS3 to play it.

I'm going to be curious to see how they handle lag and connection issues with 200+ Players, and how servers are going to be setup.

OMG....imagine the points a skilled pilot in a attack chopper could pile up?! :)

I don't think there will be too many people running off doing their own thing in this game. There are plenty of other games like MW2 to run around and randomly kill in. Most people who buy Mag will buy it for the team play aspect.
