Cadillac CTS-V 2004-2009 - exhaust vids

Dont have a stock exhaust clip. Im sure you have heard tons of em. But here is after muffler gut.

And here is muffler gut and X pipe installed in place of factory resonator. Everything else is stock... manifolds, cats, piping and stock mufflers gutted.

does it drone at hwy speeds in 6th?

sounds pretty good but i would just whack off the mufflers i think it sounds better. just the gutting of the mufflers really didnt sound much different over stock to me. the xpipe made a diffrence though.

itsslow --- i agree with you. I plan on getting some headers and hi flow cats. So exhaust would need to be re-done. I got a guy who can supposedly get me a good deal on some borla mufflers. I leave the house at 5 in the morning, the neighbors wouldnt be too happy if i had headers, hi flow cats, x-pipe and deleted mufflers. So, i will quiet it down at idle a bit with some mufflers.
