Introductions & Greetings - new guys on the block with a 69

glad to be part of a site with so much info
my son and i are doing a ground up 69 camaro so far we have the subframe complete with discs new bushings dropped spindles the body has all patching and mini tubs done hopefully we will be sandblasting this weekend and also etching primer to the underside of the body and then the body filler will start
we changed plans and are now looking for and ls1 or 2 with a t56 instead of a 383 stroker that we were originally going to put in the car that is a little bit of whats going on i will add pics soon thanks for the advice and help i have gotten so far and will get in the future thanks again alex

Sounds wicked. Can't wait to see some pics. Personally I would go with an ls2 with ls3/l92 heads and an ls3 intake with a nice little cam. You can see an easy 40+ rwhp advantage over an ls1. Also that six speed is going to be a blast and easy on the wallet when it comes time to fill the tank up with that double overdrive gear.
