New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - t/a question

Hey what gears does a trans am that's stick compared to an auto and what rpm does a stock autorun @. @ 60mph

an m6 car is 3.42, autos can be 2.73 or 3.23 from the factory. not sure about the rpm's for the autos.

i have an a4 with the 2.73's and i run around 1800 rpm's at 70, so i would guess just a bit less at 60 but there are no 60 mph zones around here so i'm not sure. Great for gas mileage but good lord i want 3.42's:(

With 3.23s auto will see 68 mph at 2K. With 3.73s they will run about 2400 at the same speed.

For comparison, this morning I was cruising on the highway in 6th at about 67-68ish mph and the RPM gauge was dead on 1500rpms.

I have to go run a few errands shortly so I'll tell you what rpm an A4 (3.23) runs at 60mph when I get back



Update: My A4 with 3.23s is between 1700-1750rpms at 60mph
