Do I need a 2007 or newer 4L60E in order to work with a 2007 5.3?(LC9)
I think some 4L60's use an external module and some just use the ECM?
Also, Don't want to go thru connector hell if they are not all the same.:huh:

Also, Don't want to go thru connector hell if they are not all the same.:huh:The newer stuff has a TCM for the trans and a ECM for the motor. Vs the Gen III PCM which did both. Any 4l60/65/70 should work as long as you have the 07 up TCM as well.
